My six-week internship with Cardano was nothing but insightful, ranging from the very informative induction sessions to the eye-opening and mind-stretching tasks I was assigned, I can confidently say that there was never a dull moment.

I was given an amazing opportunity to be directly involved with building Cardano’s new brand identity while working with the highly talented marketing team. During this time, I was exposed to the various ins and outs of such a process. Some of my tasks involved editing multiple web pages, creating backup files, auditing and generally facilitating the preparation of the new website for launch, including support with design work and SEO (search engine optimisation).

Aside from the practical work, I really enjoyed taking part in a session that focused more on the UI/UX (user interface and user experience) aspects of the rebranding operation. It was totally fascinating to witness the attention to detail and the level of planning that went into each aspect, from the font to the colours and even the positioning. The experience gave me a much better understanding of the connection between branding and consumer perception.

To conclude, I would love to thank all the members of my team, Govinder, Emma, Vita and Patricia, for the wonderful experience, as well as the important lessons I learnt from them. I would not have been able to do anything without their friendship and support. Additionally, I am thankful I had my buddy, Nilani, who was extremely helpful throughout my time with Cardano and who also gave me the best advice whenever I was in doubt.
