The UK DB pensions environment and trustee training needs are ever evolving. That’s why we have harnessed the power of artificial intelligence (AI) for a fresh training approach. Sam, our AI negotiation sparring partner, is the first and only interactive AI powered pensions training. 

In this immersive training, you take charge of a fictional DB scheme at the start of its valuation negotiation with its sponsor – with the sponsor played by our AI Sam. As the trustee, you will exchange letters with Sam, channelling your arguments to get the best outcome for members while facing a range of real-world challenges. 

A typical training session takes about 1.5 hours and includes: 

• 15 minute: scenario Introduction  
• 60 minute: negotiation
• 15 minute: debrief

This training requires trustee boards to come together and draw on knowledge across the integrated risk management spectrum (funding, investment, and covenant – as well as end-game and journey planning).
